Nara Prefecture is known as the birthplace of Japan. Not only was Nara the first capital of Japan, most aspects of Japanese culture including tea, culture, Sake, Shinto, Washi, lacquerware and sword-making all share common origins in Nara. Serving as Creative Director for inbound promotion for Nara, we directed a short film, produced a hardcover book, pocket guidebooks, a website and more.
奈良の地は日本が生まれた場所/聖地として知られています。奈良は日本/倭の国の最古の首都であっただけでなく、茶の文化、酒、神道、和紙、漆器、そして日本刀など、日本の文化的遺産が生まれた地でもあります。日本を訪れる海外のみなさんへむけて、奈良の本当に行きたい場所、その魅力をPRするためのクリエイティブ・ディレクターを担当し、そのショート・フィルムの映像、ガイドブックとなる書籍とウェブサイトなどを作りました。
